Specializes in analysis of large financial and economic data such as:

-         the U.S. merchandise trade data identifying suspicious transactions facilitating concealed wealth transfer and income shifting through over- and-under-invoicing in international trade, and

-         the CBOE options transaction database identifying suspicious transactions for tax avoidance/evasion.

 

An internationally recognized authority in trade mispricing and is a frequently invited speaker internationally. He published in leading journals, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Crimes, Business Ethics Quarterly; Applied Financial Economics; International Trade Journal, Interfaces and Tax Management: Transfer Pricing Report.

 

Courses taught: financial modeling & corporate valuation, financial derivatives, real options, financial management, and financial markets while on the faculty at the New York University, the Florida International University, and the Penn State University.
